The honest version
If you are already on a proper volume platform, we are similar at low volume and cheaper above about £25,000 of sales. That is the whole of it. Anyone quoting you a bigger saving is guessing at a rate they cannot see — large studios negotiate, and your invoice will say something different from their brochure.
What should decide it is whether the day gets lighter: the small frictions across a photography day, and knowing what is actually happening to your sales. There is no one big saving in here. There are a couple of hundred small ones, and no brochure has ever made that sound impressive. They arrive month by month, and you’d feel it by your second season rather than on this page.

We send the ones that sell — photos are online, gallery closing. Pay per message, typically 3–5p. Anything beyond that runs through your own Twilio account, billed by them, not us.
Pass a threshold and we move you down a rate automatically — then refund the difference on everything you've already sold that year. You don't ask; we just do it.

No. Every studio gets everything. The commission percentage is the only difference between tiers, and it falls as you grow.
Your rate drops automatically — you don’t have to ask or notice. And we refund the difference on everything you’d already sold that year at the higher rate, so you’re never left having overpaid on earlier sales. You get an email with the exact amount.
No — not to start, and not later. We never take a payment from you. Parents pay into your own Stripe account and our commission comes out of that, so the only thing you set up is Stripe.
